UFC on Fox 8 Johnson vs. Moraga Predictions and Betting lines

My Main Card Predictions & Bets:

#1 Johnson -470 vs. NR* Moraga +370

I'm picking Johnson because of his speed and ability to transition from position to position. Moraga is a credible opponent but he doesn't present anything Johnson hasn't seen. I think Johnson will cruise to a decision victory the way he normally does.

My bet: 47$ to win 10$ on Demetrious Johnson & 21.50$ to win 10$ on the fight going over 4 1/2 rounds

#6 Ellenberger +190 vs. #9 MacDonald -240

I'm picking MacDonald because everytime he fights you see a clear improvement to his game as if the MacDonald that fought BJ Penn wasn't scary enough. Ellenberger is dangerous too but generally only in the first round while MacDonald will be dangerous for all three rounds. I got MacDonald winning two out of the three rounds.

My bet: 24$ to win 10$ on MacDonald

#10 Lawler -290 vs. NR* Voelker +230

I'm picking Lawler because his opponent will be over matched and he took this fight on short notice being a full time student and a full time construction worker. Only God knows how he found time to train for Lawler. Lawler's had his opponent changed three times but they were all strikers so he didn't have to change much of his game plan and plus he did get his full training camp in so I got him winning by TKO in the later rounds.

My bet: 29$ to win 10$ on Lawler & 17.50$ to win 10$ on the fight going over 1 1/2 rounds

DR* Carmouche -600 vs. DR* Andrade +425

I'm picking Carmouche for the purpose of giving you my prediction but I'm not placing any bets because the line is too high. Carmouche is by far the better striker and I would say the better wrestler too but she is very submission prone and that's what Andrade's good at which is why you can't completely count her out. That being said Carmouche should defeat Andrade but if you're a betting person tread cautiously on Carmouche.

My bet: pass

My under card bets only:

28$ to win 10$ on Masvidal

21$ to win 10$ on Masvidal vs. Chiesa to go over 1 1/2 rounds

22.50$ to win 10$ on Castillo

20.50$ to win 10$ on Castillo vs. Means to go over 2 1/2 rounds

13.50$ to win 10$ on Cruickshank

18.50$ to win 10$ on Cruickshank vs. Edwards to go over 2 1/2 rounds

24.50$ to win 10$ on Albert

I am passing on:

Guillard vs. Danzig, Herman vs. Smith, Kedzie vs. de Randamie & Riley vs. Salas
